Growing into this place

In 2021, Redemption City Church purchased our current building as a place to gather, worship, serve, and make disciples.


Since then, God has continued to grow our church. In the fall of 2025, we moved to two Sunday services. Today, we've grown into the space we once had room to fill, and our children are helping us see just how much God is doing.


Each week, more than 80 children gather in our basement to hear the gospel, learn about Jesus, and grow together. We're grateful for that growth. And we're ready to make room for what comes next.

Making Room For People

A Place for All

An ADA-accessible entrance and bathrooms will make our building more accessible, welcoming people who currently face barriers to fully participating in our church community.



A Place for the Next Generation

Additional children's ministry space will allow us to divide children into smaller age-appropriate groups, creating more opportunities for intentional teaching, relationships, and conversations about the gospel.



A Place to Serve

Additional gathering space will provide room for staff and volunteers to meet, serve, and plan as well as increase our capacity for ministries like Laundry Love.

The Project

The total building expansion project is approximately $800,000.




Through God's provision and the generosity of our church family, we currently have $250,000 toward the project and are seeking to raise an additional $350,000 toward the expansion.

More Than A Building

We believe this expansion will help us continue to be a safe and welcoming space for guests and members, and become a hub for church planting in Grand Rapids.

More space means more opportunities to gather, to disciple, to serve our neighbors, and to invest in the next generation.

We're not simply building for where Redemption City Church is today. We're making room for the people God may bring through these doors in the future.
